Surprise ! Non ? D'accord tout le monde s'en doutait mais au moins maintenant c'est officiel. Green Day sont les Foxboro Hot Tubs et les Foxboro Hot Tubs sont Green day... ou presque. Puisqu'à Billie Joe, Mike et Tré, il faut ajouter leurs compères Jason White et Jason Freese pour arriver a trouver les FHT au complet.

C'est par une lettre à MTV News que le groupe a choisit d'officialiser la nouvelle. Nous n'allons pas tout vous retranscrire ici mais l'essentiel est donc dit et l'article complet (en anglais) est disponible ici :

Le détail qui tue dans cet article, c'est ce passage : "the Hot Tubs want you to know that they plan on touring in support of it, and they're looking to line up a couple of pretty solid openers to fill out the bill.
"All things considered, either the Network or Green Day would make excellent openers for a FBHT tour," they wrote. "Anyone know how to book a tour?"

Traduction : les FHT souhaiteraient tourner pour faire la promo de leur album qui va sortir dans les prochains jours. Pour compléter l'affiche il leur faudrait un bon groupe, et pourquoi pas Green day ou The Network...

Bien sur, si une telle tournée venait à voir le jour, les chances de la voir passer dans nos contrée est quand même mince.

Il y a quelques news de ca, des rumeurs annonçaient une probable venue de Green day sur le festival anglais de Reading.

Bad luck, le trio de Berkley ne fait pas parti des grosses têtes d'affiches annoncées. La programmation du festival a été annoncée. On y retrouvera Rage Against the Machine, Metallica, The Killers, Queen of The Stone Age et plein d'autres mais pas de petits hommes verts.

Pour rappel, les dernière (phénoménale) performance de Green Day au Reading 2004 est toujours dispo sur la page vidéos.

Foxboro Hot Tubs et sondage update (youhou!)

Les changements de dates se succèdent pour la sortie de l'album des Foxboro Hot Tubs. Le site américain d'Amazon l'annonce maintenant pour le 8 avril, soit dans à peine 7 petits jours. Ca ce passe ici.

Un nouveau titre du mystérieux groupe a été dévoilé. Il s'appelle "The Pedestrian" et vous pouvez en écouter un morceau sur le myspace du groupe.

Pour entendre le morceau en intégralité, il est déjà possible de l'acheter pour 99 cents.

Un nouveau sondage débute aujourd'hui sur GDP. Voici tout d'abord les résultats du précédant :
